Whitefly is Alessandro... but you can call him Al.

Al is a versatile and creative editor with 11 years experience, now working freelance.

He started more than a decade ago at Saatchi & Saatchi entering the creative world of advertising, producing simple black and white animations for internal use at the agency.
From these "quick and rough" sketched animatics, he quickly developed a more polished style of animation and continued to work closely with creative teams and TV producers.

Moving to Publicis in 2003, he developed his expertise and variety of skills as the preferred internal resource, creating animatics and moving image for the agency.
His work included mood-films for pitches and research, behind-the-scenes compilations, corporate films, new business case studies and he was considered a trusted and creative pair of hands.

The variety of projects he worked on, allowed him to explore outside the confined space of the edit suite, getting involved in filming, photographic lighting set-ups and stop frame animation for these projects. This experience developed his understanding of these projects from brief to delivery.

Moving from Publicis as in-house creative editor, he now works in team with the London based visual agency Runningman2, developing 2D and 2.5D animation at all levels, from animatic research, web video to broadcast ads.
